Sending an enquiry, speaking to us or sending a property photograph does not create a building contract or guarantee acceptance of a job. A quotation may require a property visit, measurements and clarification of the works. Any proposed price should identify applicable taxes and the agreed scope.

Before carrying out work, the parties should agree in writing on the scope, location, total or itemised price and applicable taxes, payment schedule, expected dates, responsibility for necessary permissions, materials, change orders, handover and applicable guarantees. Subsequent work and price changes should be agreed in writing. These website explanations do not replace the separate project contract.

Some work requires notifications, licences, technical documentation, inspections or appropriately qualified professionals. This will depend on the nature and location of the project. A quotation does not itself represent authorisation by any public authority.
